Prices are up for everything on the market today and that includes the foods we are eating. I like most people out there have taken a sizable hit in the wallet thanks to rising gas and food prices. One of the end results for all this extra money going out the door is looking for some creative ways to not only stretch the miles in my car but stretch out the amount of meals I get from my food. This was the idea for this post, to discuss one of the kitchen devices that we have that has surprisingly added some flavor to our home cooked meals and saved some money for us at the grocery store also.
The crock pot or some people call it the slow cooker. The crock pot is a great device that probably does not get enough credit for it’s versatility in the kitchen especially when it comes to saving you money on your groceries.
